MedCare Pediatric is seeking an IT Help Desk Support Specialist to provide onsite technical support, maintain reliable technology operations, and deliver an excellent employee technology experience.

This role serves as the first point of contact for IT support, manages user access and equipment, supports employee onboarding/offboarding, and assists with technology systems including computers, Microsoft 365, networking, and physical security systems.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, customer-focused IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting, improving processes, and helping employees work efficiently.

  • Provide onsite first-level IT support for employees.
  • Respond to help desk requests, troubleshoot issues, and communicate updates.
  • Resolve hardware, software, account access, and connectivity problems.
  • Install and configure computers, applications, and peripherals.
  • Provide basic employee technology training and support.
  • Prepare technology access for new hires, including:
    • Computers and workstations
    • Microsoft 365 accounts
    • MFA setup
    • EMR/application access
    • Phones, Wi-Fi, and facility access
    • Complete employee offboarding, including account deactivation, equipment recovery, and access removal.
    • Maintain accurate onboarding and offboarding documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of computers, mobile devices, printers, and IT equipment.
  • Track assets from deployment through retirement.
  • Coordinate hardware replacements and technology refresh planning.
  • Perform or coordinate secure data wiping and electronic recycling.
  • Assist with asset reporting and lifecycle documentation.
  • Support facility technology systems, including:
    • Security cameras (CCTV)
    • Door access systems and FOBs
    • Alarm systems
    • Visitor access technology
    • Maintain accurate access permissions and assist with access audits.
    • Coordinate vendor repairs and system issues when needed.
  • 2+ years of IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows computers and business applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, user accounts, and basic networking.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests.

Nice to Have

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Healthcare IT experience.
  • Experience with EMR systems, endpoint management, or physical security technology.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare technology security practices.
