As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will have the opportunity to transform the lives of children and their families by providing individualized speech, language, feeding, and swallowing therapy. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who share your passion for helping children build essential skills and reach their fullest potential.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- →Provide evidence-based pediatric speech therapy services targeting:
- →Speech sound disorders and articulation
- →Language delays and communication disorders
- →Feeding and swallowing challenges
- →Fluency and social communication skills
- →Deliver personalized therapy sessions focused on improving functional communication and independence.
- →Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to support positive outcomes.
- →Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support continued progress at home.
- →Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide family-centered care.
- →Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to professional and regulatory standards.
Requirements
~1 min read- Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligible to obtain prior to start date).
- One year of experience preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Pediatric speech therapy experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children and families.
- Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities
- Weekday, after-school, and Saturday availability
