As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you'll provide one-on-one therapy in children's homes, building meaningful relationships with patients and families while helping children improve their communication, feeding, and swallowing skills. Our flexible scheduling, collaborative culture, and supportive leadership allow you to focus on delivering quality care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
- Provide pediatric speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Implement individualized treatment plans to address:
- Speech disorders
- Language delays
- Articulation and phonological disorders
- Feeding and swallowing challenges
- Social communication skills
- Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment updates to the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Educate and support parents and caregivers with home programs and therapeutic strategies.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, family-centered care.
- Build positive, lasting relationships with children and their families through compassionate, one-on-one care.
Requirements
~1 min read- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
- Current Texas SLPA license (or eligible to obtain prior to start date).
- One year of experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for helping children achieve their communication goals.
- Part-Time and PRN opportunities
