Job Purpose The Access Coordinator is responsible for the support and coordination of access and maintenance for users to client systems and software.   Duties and Responsibilities Support and coordinate access and maintenance for users to client systems and software’s Troubleshoot user access to the systems when issues or problems arise Provide new user access support to employees when needed Provide administrative support to the various branches of our clients Coordinate new user set up in all client systems - EMR, Practice Management Systems, Mpower, payer websites, etc Coordinate new user set up in systems outside of the company – Co-sourcing teams Coordinate termination of users in all internal and external systems, including portal access Provide weekly access/delays to management team System Access Maintenance Stay up-to-date with changes/updates from the client’s systems and educate the team to changes Maintain portal training documents for the practice and patient handouts Program/Update phone system, extension, voicemail, forwarding and troubleshoot issues. Document and track company systems and computer equipment support issues that you assist with to identify recurring issues or issues that are system wide. Maintain a tracking list of new employees receiving access to client systems they are set up with Assist with Help Desk support requests from the end users for access issues - this includes opening tickets and being the primary contact for the ticket as well as troubleshooting the issue and keeping managers/providers up to date on progress or next steps throughout the process  Answer phones and triage calls appropriately Covers for lunch breaks and vacations Other duties as assigned  Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times  Limit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties  Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 2-3 years of relevant administrative support experience including answering calls experience Administrative experience in Medical Office environment preferred Medium to Advanced skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Strong ethics and the ability to handle highly sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality Ability to navigate the internet proficiently Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization  Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses  High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented   Excellent written and verbal communication skills required  Gracious and welcoming personality for customer service interaction  Working Conditions Must possess a smart-phone or electronic device capable of downloading applications, for multifactor authentication and security purposes.  Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area; Sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hear. Mental Demands: The employee must be able to follow directions, collaborate with others, and handle stress.
