Technical Writer - Shared Services

Position Overview:
As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for developing, editing, and maintaining clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation and internal content while ensuring compliance with documentation standards and deadlines.

Work Schedule and Arrangement: 10:00 AM- 7:00 PM, Onsite
Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu

Key Responsibilities:
● Writing user manuals, release notes, scripts, newsletter articles, posters, and other internal documents.
● Developing scripts and content for interactive training materials and internal communication materials.
● Researching available product information and coordinating with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
● Testing technical features of software to determine the most effective and user-friendly instructions.
● Ensuring final drafts comply with established team guidelines and specifications, and applying appropriate editorial treatment to existing documents.
● Managing time effectively and meeting documentation deadlines accordingly.

Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in any field. Preferred but not required: Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication, Language-related courses, Education, or equivalent.
● Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Writing or technical writing-related experience is a strong advantage.
● Excellent technical writing skills.
● Highly competent in written and spoken American English.
● Proficiency in MS Office applications, Google Suite tools, and screen capture tools.
● Ability to understand technical information and present it in a simple, organized, and concise manner.
● Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and within a team.
● Comfortable working in an office-based environment.
● Able to work with minimal supervision and hit the ground running.

Salary and monetary benefits (in PHP):
● Monthly salary of 16,000php - 20,000php
