Chief of Staff

Merge is a regulated stablecoin payments infrastructure platform enabling enterprises to move money globally in real time. We combine stablecoin rails with local instant payment systems to deliver faster, cheaper, and more transparent cross-border payments and treasury workflows.

Merge serves fintechs, investment platforms, marketplaces, and corporate treasury teams globally, helping them improve cross-border payments, liquidity management, FX execution, and treasury operations.

Merge is looking for a Chief of Staff to work closely with the leadership team to help scale the company’s operations, strategic execution, and commercial growth across fiat and stablecoin payment infrastructure.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-moving, high-ownership environments and enjoys building operational systems from 0→1 within regulated fintech infrastructure.

• →Partner closely with the leadership team on strategic and operational priorities.
• →Drive execution across payments, treasury, compliance, partnerships, and infrastructure initiatives.
• →Build scalable processes, reporting, and operational workflows.
• →Turn complex information into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• →Track industry, regulatory, and market developments relevant to the business.
• →Ensure follow-through on decisions, priorities, and action items across teams.
• →Identify operational gaps, risks, and issues proactively.
• →Operate with strong ownership, discretion, judgment, and professionalism.

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking infrastructure, stablecoins, digital assets, or regulated financial services environments.
• Strong understanding of payment operations, treasury, settlement flows, reconciliation, and regulated financial infrastructure.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to produce concise, executive-ready materials.
• Demonstrated success operating in high-growth, fast-moving environments with a high degree of ownership and ambiguity.
• Strong strategic thinking, executive presence, and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority.
• Deep interest in blockchain, digital assets, stablecoins, payments infrastructure, and global regulatory developments, paired with an entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset.
