You are the Certified Peer Recovery Specialist that we are seeking for our Adult and Addiction Services program located in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. As a CPRS you will work alongside patients providing peer support services, serving as a patient advocate and facilitating non-clinical skills/support groups with the support of a licensed clinician.

• →Assist patients in identifying personal goals for recovery
• →Works with clinicians in the development of treatment and discharge plans.
• →Provides case management services as identified in the patient’s treatment plan; coordination of contractual care as needed
• →Completes relevant assessments
• →Assist patients in recognizing barriers to recovery
• →Assist patients in recognizing their personal strengths they build their recovery capital.
• →Facilitate non-clinical skills groups
• →Assist patients in building social skills and the development of healthy relationships.
• →Model different ways someone in recovery uses self-care.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current sustained period of recovery for at least 2 years with substance use.
• Self-identified person in recovery from substance use
• Holds current Certified Peer Support Professional (CPSP) credential from the DMHA.
• Valid driver’s license, a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required
