As the first operational hire for our Hong Kong entity, you will own the end-to-end employee experience and office infrastructure. This is a high-autonomy role requiring a "Full-Stack" mindset: you will manage the critical details of local compliance, benefits, and insurance while ensuring our office environment supports a high-performance technical team.

Responsibilities

  1. People Operations
  • Employee Lifecycle: Design and execute a high-touch onboarding experience. You ensure the administrative journey is frictionless and professional from Day 1 to offboarding.
  • Immigration & Visa Strategy: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of employment visas (including TTPS, GEP, and IANG). Serve as the primary point of contact for the Immigration Department to ensure seamless entry for global talent.
  • Local Policy Implementation: Localize global HR initiatives to fit the Hong Kong market while maintaining the firm's core performance philosophy.
  • Benefits: Lead the end-to-end design and execution of localized benefit programs, ensuring premier insurance coverage and a competitive total rewards experience.
  • Payroll: Own the end-to-end payroll engine, ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness in salary disbursement, MPF contributions, and statutory tax filings.
  1. Office Management & Infrastructure
  • Workspace Ownership: Manage the physical office footprint as we scale. This includes vendor management (IT, Facilities, Procurement), lease coordination, and space planning.
  • Company Secretarial Liaison: Coordinate with external firms for statutory filings and ensure all local corporate governance requirements are met.
  • Team Vitality: Plan and execute local events and team-building activities that align with our firm's culture of Exploration and Performance.
  • Experience: 5 – 10 years of HR/Operations experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g., Technology, Fintech, or Professional Services).
  • HK Regulatory Mastery: Deep functional knowledge of the HK Employment Ordinance, MPF regulations, and local tax requirements.
  • Operational Rigor: You are "process-obsessed." You believe that clean data and accurate administration are the foundation of employee trust.
  • Autonomy: Proven ability to work as the sole operational representative in a satellite office, reporting to a remote HQ.
  • Languages: Professional fluency in English and Mandarin is essential for bridging the HK office with our regional hubs.
