The Branch Manager will pursue commercial deposit business to increase market penetration. They will drive inside sales efforts by training and coaching branch staff in cross-selling existing customers to improve overall branch business development effectiveness.

Responsibilities
~1 min readThe Branch Manager will be responsible for leading and growing a newly established Charlotte, North Carolina branch. Key responsibilities include:
- →Drive business development and sales performance to achieve branch growth and profitability goals.
- →Generate new commercial deposit business and support small business development initiatives.
- →Train, coach, and mentor branch staff in sales, cross-selling, and customer service strategies.
- →Oversee day-to-day branch operations while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- →Build strong internal and external relationships, drive customer retention, and represent the bank in the community.
- →Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and branch performance metrics to implement effective strategies.
- →Conduct regular sales and service meetings to develop staff skills and support overall Retail strategy.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of commercial banking experience
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and new business development skills
- Experience in the Charlotte market with a proven track record of driving sales growth and building strong community relationships
- Must have a portable book of business and an established referral network.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Driven by a passion and curiosity to continuously learn how various technological systems, including AI, can enhance the work that you do.
