Product Owner Lead

Adaptfy is growing! At Adaptfy we are looking for a Product Owner with 5+ years of experience, to join our Data and Analytics Team in Amsterdam.

Adaptfy is a turnkey data & analytics solution for the SHV family of companies. We support multiple SHV Groups with advanced Data & Analytics in all areas, elevating their operations in diverse industries across international markets and throughout entire value chains.

  Champion the cause of our clients by leading development of Data & Analytics products and their implementation; and help build lasting client relationships

  Lead projects and client interactions

• →

  Setup and facilitate workshops, meetings & interviews with client teams, to understand their business processes, aspirations, challenges and develop plans for effective Data Analytics based solutions

  Challenge existing processes / ways-of-working and develop improved / innovative solutions with clear ROI

• →

  Prepare viable and efficient plans for project execution, in conjunction with various stakeholders across multiple organizations and disciplines

  Actively manage execution of Data Analytics projects with activities including, but not limited to:

  -Manage regular project scrum processes with Adaptfy & client project teams

  -Monitor & manage project progress, delivery risks, and ensure project completes on time, within budget and the full scope is delivered

  -Trouble shoot & help manage challenges faced by the team

  -Ensure effective & timely communication with all stakeholders

  -Take ownership of project governance and adherence to execution plans

  Lead a cross cultural and multi-skilled team of solution architects, functional experts, Data & Analytics developers to design and implement effective solutions

  Partner clients in adoption of the developed solutions to derive business process improvements and ROI

• →

  Have a willingness to travel as needed for client projects

• →

  Support sales efforts via preparation of proposals, case studies and client presentations

Must haves:

• 5+ years of experience in Data analytics, technology or consulting project execution & delivery, with 1+ years at a project lead level

• 2+ years of experience with data & analytics solutions delivery, with exposure to cloud computing environments

• A degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, etc.) or MBA

• Experience in Project Management, with knowledge of best practices and frameworks. Experience in leading teams and delivering successful projects

• Experience with Waterfall and Agile way of working and running scrum teams

• Consulting bent of mind, with strong business acumen, problem solving abilities and quantitative aptitude

• Minimum basic level programming skills in SQL with high levels of comfort in handling multidimensional data sets

• Awareness of Data & Analytics solution concepts and current trends on Data Warehousing, BI, Reporting, Data Science and AI

• Strong communication skills (oral and written); fluent in English. Knowledge of other EU languages is a plus

• Ability to innovate and deal with a constantly changing environment

• Experience in managing multiple stakeholders across clients, peers, and supervisors

Good to have:

• Knowledge of Python, PowerBI, Tableau, cloud analytics solutions, Data Science Modelling, Deep Learning & AI

• Knowledge of Data warehouse design, development and maintenance

• Experience with designing and developing solution architecture
