The Opportunity: Technical Writer
Shape How Work Gets Done—Across the Entire Organization
We’re looking for a Technical Writer who loves turning complex processes into clear, usable documentation that actually helps people work better. In this role, you’ll sit at the center of our operations—partnering with Engineering, IT, Quality, Operations, and Safety teams to create, control, and continuously improve the documents that keep our organization running smoothly and compliantly.
If you enjoy collaborating with subject‑matter experts, bringing order to information, and owning documentation from creation through approval and revision, this role offers both visibility and impact.
What You’ll Do
- Translate complex technical processes into clear, user‑friendly documentation for employees, customers, and auditors
- Develop and maintain procedures, manuals, technical instructions, reports, and training materials
- Interview and collaborate with subject‑matter experts across Engineering, IT, Operations, Quality, EHS, and Health Physics
- Own document control and records management processes, ensuring accuracy, version control, and security
- Manage the master document list and oversee revisions throughout the document lifecycle
- Receive, validate, file, retrieve, and archive controlled documents
- Support internal and external quality audits by ensuring documentation is complete, current, and compliant
- Continuously improve documentation structure, clarity, and consistency across the organization

- You’re highly organized and comfortable managing multiple documents, deadlines, and priorities

- You tailor content to your audience—operators, engineers, leadership, or auditors
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and general computing software
- Familiarity with document control and records management practices
- Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Comfortable communicating across all levels of the organization
Preferred Experience Qualification
- Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or regulated environment
- Prior exposure to quality systems, audits, or compliance documentation
