Midas Auto Service Experts is looking for a dependable and motivated General Service Technician to join our team. If you're passionate about automotive service and want to grow your career with a busy, full-service repair shop, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and routine preventive maintenance
- Complete fluid exchanges and filter replacements
- Perform visual safety and courtesy inspections
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
- Perform four-wheel alignments and alignment inspections
- Replace batteries, bulbs, belts, and hoses
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist technicians with shop operations as needed
- Follow all company safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous automotive service experience preferred
- Experience performing wheel alignments is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures and shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
