Join our Facilities team as a Regional Maintenance Manager and lead the physical maintenance operations across a regional portfolio of affordable housing communities. Reporting to the Director of Facilities, you will oversee Area Maintenance Leads while ensuring our properties remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained for the 20,000 residents we serve. Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead and supervise Area Maintenance Leads across assigned regional portfolio to ensure effective team performance and professional development
- →Manage completion of work orders through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maintain high service standards and responsiveness
- →Conduct routine property inspections and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure safety, compliance, and asset preservation
- →Monitor compliance with HUD, REAC, and affordable housing regulatory standards through systematic inspections and corrective actions
- →Coordinate with property managers, asset managers, and Facilities Coordinators to align maintenance priorities and support capital project execution
- →Manage third-party vendor relationships including bidding, contracting, and quality control to optimize service delivery and costs
- →Oversee regional maintenance budgets, inventory controls, and operational costs to ensure fiscal responsibility and efficiency
- →Ensures small capital projects assigned to the properties are completed
- →Supports Area Maintenance Leads with property damage incidents, including but limited to water and fire mitigation, hazmat control, restoration work, and bid walks
- →Serve as technical advisor on building systems and mentor maintenance staff to support their professional growth and skill development
Requirements
~1 min read- 5+ years of experience in multi-site facilities or maintenance management, with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree in maintenance, facilities management, or construction management preferred
- Experience in affordable housing, property management, or related field strongly preferred
- Proficiency in CMMS software and MS Office Suite for effective work order management and reporting
- Reliable transportation to and from various work locations and occasional job-related travel is required.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Physical ability to perform maintenance-related activities including lifting, walking, bending, and climbing ladders, with regular travel to multiple sites
$105,000 - $115,000 Annual Salary - Pay based on applicable experience and qualifications
