HDD Operator / Locator - Strive for Excellence

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and dedicated HDD Operator/Locator to lead our team to continued success.

• →Operate and maintain HDD rigs for trenchless installations
• →Commitment to ‘no fault’ utility strikes
• →Interpret project plans, ensuring accurate bore paths and alignments
• →Collaborate closely with the project manager and foreman to ensure efficient workflow
• →Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
• →Maintain and adhere to safety standards and protocols on every job
• →Document daily reports and job progress accurately

• 2+ years of experience in HDD operations and locating
• Solid understanding of HDD rig operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with Falcon F5 locating equipment
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to safety protocols
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings and schematics
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Experience with Vermeer HDD rigs and tooling
• Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement preferred
