This role supports public health by ensuring timely service, adherence to safety and environmental regulations, and respectful interaction with the community.   Responsibilities: In the position of Front-End DZ Driver, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act. The safe and efficient operation of Front-Load trucks. Must have excellent knowledge of and be familiar with the roads in the GTA and surrounding areas. Ensure customers are serviced as per their contractual requirements and schedules. Physical ability to safely push and pull various sizes and weights of containers in and out of enclosures and rooms. Unlocking and locking of containers and enclosures/rooms. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Meet or exceed performance and productivity expectations through proven results. During some periods you will be required to assist with driving for residential collections.   Competencies & Qualifications: Must have a valid DZ Driver’s Licence. Must possess a clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR. Knowledge of the Toronto area and prior experience working within the region are considered strong assets for this role. Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility with your work schedule is necessary as start and end times may vary. Statutory Holidays and / or Saturdays will be required at times.  Effective written and verbal communication is mandatory.
