Ensures safety compliance, handles incident reporting, and monitors productivity metrics. Acts as a key liaison with municipal staff while supporting strong customer service and effective team leadership.   Responsibilities: In the position of Route Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:  Schedule routes; create and modify collection maps and areas.    Hold regular meetings with your staff for morning start-ups.    Attend all accidents and property damage incidents, fill out accident investigation reports and issue progressive discipline when required.    Enter daily productivity statistics and discuss results with drivers as well as record and time keeping.    Ensuring the timely collection of residential curbside materials.    Effective team building, while encouraging excellent customer service.    Lead and act as the primary line of communication and contact with various levels of Municipal staff members.    Provide coaching and training for drivers failing to meet minimum service agreement.    Demonstrate compassion and understanding of employee needs and build positive relations.    Ensure safety and operational standards are being met.    Other duties and projects as required.      Competencies & Qualifications: Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act.    Demonstrable and proven team building skills with the ability to lead as a collaborative leader.  Successful candidates will have a Class 3E Driver’s Licence.
