Assists with scheduling and coverage needs, including weekends.
Maintains the master scheduling calendar.
Supports training and onboarding of new Scheduling Coordinators.
Monitors branch workflows and coordination notes.
Reviews scheduling reports for accuracy across branches.
Collects clinician schedules monthly from Branch Directors.
Sends weekend on-call schedules for branch confirmation each Friday.
Maintains branch zip code coverage lists.
Coordinates clinician schedules to optimize productivity.
Assists with caseload assignments for LVN and PTA visits.
Communicates visit schedules to patients as needed.
Notifies staff of new same-day or overdue patient assignments.
Removes duplicate evaluation tasks and approved non-admits.
Collaborates with operational and clinical teams to resolve scheduling issues.
Escalates significant scheduling concerns to the Scheduling Director.
High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 3–5 years of scheduling, administrative, or healthcare operations experience. Home health or healthcare experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of scheduling practices, staffing coordination, and workflow management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure appropriate coverage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with the ability to maintain accurate records and generate reports.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including training, onboarding, and supporting scheduling staff while serving as a resource for team members and branch leadership.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinicians, patients, and leadership while maintaining a high level of customer service.
