UX/UI Designer

Momence was founded in 2020, graduated from Y Combinator, and raised an $11M Series A. We build and operate a software platform for experience-based and membership-driven businesses, including yoga and fitness studios, dance schools, wellness centers, salons, golf facilities, and more. As a UX/UI Designer, you play a pivotal role in creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences for our digital products. You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to understand user needs and translate them into engaging and user-friendly interfaces. You have a passion for user-centered design, a strong understanding of user research methodologies, and proficiency in design tools. 

• →3 years of experience in UX/UI design or product design.
• →Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 
• →Experience as a UX/UI Designer or in a similar role. 
• →Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects and a solid understanding of design principles. 
• →Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or similar. 
• →Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development principles to effectively collaborate with developers.  
• →Knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles. 
• →Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying user-centered design methodologies. 
• →Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze design challenges and propose innovative solutions. 
• →Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and decisions. 
• →Experience working in Agile development processes and collaborating with development teams. 
• →Attention to detail and a strong focus on delivering high-quality designs that enhance user experiences. 
• →Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design. 
• →Fluency in English, as we use it daily.
• →Based in the Czech Republic. You can work from our Prague office, fully remotely, or in a hybrid setup—whatever works best for you.
