As a Product Designer, you will design and optimize user journeys that improve conversion and accessibility across Money Mart’s web and mobile acquisition experiences.
- Conduct user research, map user journeys, and identify friction in sign-up, application flows and account management.
- Design responsive UI flows for mobile and desktop web, with an emphasis on usability and accessibility.
- Spend time developing automation functionalities within the design process for the team, utilizing AI tools. Could be related to research flows, Figma builds, Asana tasks management.
- Use and contribute to the design system (ZeroHeight) to ensure consistent, scalable solutions.
- Present work, document design rationale, and support handoff to development teams.
- Proficient in Figma, Miro, and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics (or equivalent) for funnel analysis.
- Experience using design system tools (ZeroHeight, Storybook, or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG 2.1, AODA).
- Basic prototyping and user testing tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Postgraduate coursework or certification in UX, Service Design, or Interaction Design preferred.
- UX Certification (e.g. NN/g UX Certified, HFI CUA), accessibility training (e.g. WCAG, AODA) is preferred.
- 3–5 years designing responsive digital experiences in web or mobile
- Experience designing multi-step forms, verification flows, or application funnels
- Familiarity working in agile product environments
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or conversion-focused products
- Working with or contributing to design systems
