We’re seeking curious minds like yours to collaborate with full-time engineers and cross functional teammates, learn development standard methodologies, and gain practical software engineering experience.
Software engineering interns are fully integrated into software engineering teams across our Product and Technology organization. During the internship, interns push production-level code and make lasting contributions across MongoDB’s products and services for our internal teams, external customers, and developer end users.
Requirements
~1 min read- In the process of receiving a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
- Fluent in any one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Go, C++, Javascript, Node.js - or a comparable object-oriented programming language.
- Have a foundation in computer science theory, with proficiencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes, with an expected graduation date between June 2027 and February 2028.
- Must be authorized to work in Australia or New Zealand. Company sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates applying for certain roles.

MongoDB internships are full-time (38 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks from December 7, 2026 - February 12, 2027. All interns are considered hybrid employees, designated the "in office" working model and are expected to be in their office location 3-5 days a week.
