About the Role

The Fraud Desk Officer is responsible for identifying, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activity within the organisation's payment and banking platforms. The role involves analyzing suspicious transactions, managing fraud cases end-to-end, and collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to mitigate financial and reputational losses.

Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in fraud investigation, transaction disputes, or risk operations, preferably in a fintech or digital banking environment.

  • Minimum educational qualification of HND or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Criminology, or a related field.

Requirements

  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)

  • Designate Compliance Professional (DCP)

  • Other relevant professional certifications in KYC, AML, Compliance, or Risk Management.
