STRUCTURAL FITTER

Job Title: Structural Fitter - Fabrication

Rotational Schedule: 5/2

Crew Change Location: Houma, LA

• →Layout, position, aligns and secures parts for welding and bolt-up.
• →Measure, mark, cut, bore, fit and/or install various structural components in accordance with blueprints and job specifications using hand and power tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders/benders, etc.
• →Participate in JSA’s and all other Safety, Health and Environmental Processes.
• →Conduct behavioral based safety observations.

• 3 or more years prior fabrication experience
• Able to interpret ISO’s and P&ID’s
• Able to cut with a torch
• Square-cut and bevel-cut metal using arc cutting equipment
• Pierce and cut slots in metal using plasma arc cutting equipment
• Create field sketches
• Experience using safe work habits
• Candidates will be required to pass a Hands-on Fitter Test
