Quality Engineer

MorEng is a specialized aerospace and defense engineering recruitment firm

supporting organizations across Canada. A leading aerospace supplier is

seeking a Quality Engineer. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily production floor meetings to communicate priorities and maintain consistency with your team.
• Manage supplier non-conformities, line checks, and disclosures on the production line.
• Collect data and perform preliminary assessments of defects and investigations arising during production.
• Attend key meetings and reviews such as client calls, quality reviews, and weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings to drive performance improvement. 
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve key issues and support the business by implementing containment plans at supplier sites.

Minimum Requirements

• University degree in a technical field, quality management, or project management
• Minimum of 5 years' management experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, or Continuous Improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing environment 
• Ability to manage time and priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting. 
• Understanding of airworthiness regulations.
