Employment Law Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Employment Law department. 

This role is in-office 5 days per week with no flexibility to be hybrid or remote.

• →Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memoranda.
• →Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
• →Interface with Administrative Agencies, including EEOC.
• →E-file court documents in federal and state court.
• →Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses.
• →Draft and serve summons.
• →Coordinate depositions.
• →Prepare deposition and hearing binders and exhibits.
• →Drafting pleadings, motions and appellate documents and filing them with the court.
• →Interfacing with clients to keep them apprised of the status of their case and to obtain documents needed for discovery.
• →Gather relevant information from a variety of sources.
• →Liaise between the attorneys and internal/external third parties, including co-counsel, counsel for defendants, and the courts.

• Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred)
• At least 2+ years of working experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting.
• Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred).
• General Litigation Experience, preferably in federal court 
• Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practices.
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
