Service Technician

We are seeking a Service Technician with a “Whatever It Takes” approach to join our maintenance team! In this full-time role, you will help ensure the physical aspects of the apartment community meet company standards, resident expectations, and applicable compliance requirements. As the Service Technician, you will help to: Troubleshoot and complete service requests including, but not limited to, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs Perform preventative maintenance and support day-to-day property upkeep Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards and applicable laws Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-maintained community environment Candidates with basic repair knowledge and prior apartment maintenance or related industry experience are encouraged to apply. Plumbing and HVAC experience are strongly preferred. *Additional certifications are not required, but would be considered a plus. Compensation & Incentives Base Pay: $19–$22/hour Up to 50% Rent Discount Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match Generous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leave Hours & Schedule Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Paid rotating on-call participation required (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off) Must be available and prepared for emergency events as needed *Schedule subject to change based on business needs What We’ll Expect From You Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle Basic maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge required Prior apartment maintenance or related industry experience preferred Plumbing and HVAC experience strongly preferred HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred, but not required One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a maintenance team We’re looking for someone dependable, hands-on, and motivated to deliver excellent service while helping maintain quality apartment homes for our residents. #AC4014
