Finance Business Analyst

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Finance Business Analyst. In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is an Associate level position within our Business Management Job Family which performs business management/CAO functions including headcount management, financials, people processes, executive communications, strategic support, divisional governance, regulatory support etc. Includes regional, location and department management and oversight. What you'll do in the role: * Act as a business analyst to enhance current manual processes by reviewing complex reports and documenting dataflows to prepare for automation * Cooperate with IT counterparts describing business requirements and participate in testing, governance, and control framework set-up * Help to manage our data and reporting strategy by preparing materials to facilitate decision making * Automation tasks What you'll bring to the role: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Accounting or related field with 2+ years of experience * Coding or automation experience * General finance knowledge * Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills * Analytical and control mindset with the ability to analyse big datasets and convert them into meaningful metrics * Good communication skills across seniority levels with the ability to prioritize across multiple stakeholders * Project management experience in Agile is a plus * Database management and/or BI experience is a plus #LI-HYBRID #BPREP #LI-KP1 WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
