We’re seeking someone to join our CDRR Technology team as a Lead Full Stack Engineer/Technical Manager position, in Non-Financial Risk Technology to deliver hands on contributions for firm’s Assurance & Legal Technology platforms. This is a leadership role focused on developing and designing Core Platform Services to help drive program automation and strategy. The successful candidate collaborates with global teams to understand requirements, develop high-quality code, and deliver impactful projects. Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership are essential for delivering high-quality applications. This is Vice President position, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs. What you’ll do in the role: * > Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic data products and curated datasets supporting AML, Investigations, ECRR, SCV, OFAC and other FCT programs. * > Own technical architecture and roadmap for data platforms, pipelines, semantic models and data products. * > Partner with Product Owners, Data Governance, Data Certification, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions. * > Drive adoption of data quality controls, reconciliation frameworks, observability, and certification processes. * > Lead ontology-driven and metadata-driven data engineering approaches where applicable. * > Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards, design reviews, and operational excellence practices. * > Drive AI-enabled engineering productivity and automation across data ingestion, lineage, mapping, and documentation processes. * > Manage delivery risks, dependencies, technical debt, and production support priorities. What you’ll bring to the role: * > Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills * > At least 5 years financial industry technology experience and knowledge of financial services data * > Good verbal and written communication skills * > 10+ years of experience in data engineering and data platform development. * > 3+ years leading engineering teams or technical initiatives. * > Expert in Python, PySpark, SQL, and distributed data processing. * > Strong experience with cloud-native data architectures and large-scale ETL frameworks. * > Data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data product design. * > Reasonable stakeholder management and communication skills Desired Skills: * > Knowledge Graph / RDF / Ontology modeling. * > Graph databases (Stardog, Neo4j, GraphDB) * > Iceberg, Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture * > Experience and Understanding of Data Quality Rules and Implementation WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
