Staff TPM

• →Drive Strategic Initiatives: Own and execute large-scale, complex technical programs critical to Motional's roadmap, focusing on model development and release cycles, while ensuring alignment between senior engineering leaders, product managers, and executive stakeholders.
• →Lead Cross-Stack Integration: Serve as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for high-level behavioral capabilities, managing dependencies and driving integration efforts across Prediction and ML Planning teams to successfully launch large models.
• →Dive Deep Technically: Go beyond surface-level program tracking. Dive deep into ML and behavioral issues to facilitate trade-off discussions, and drive teams to convergence on robust solutions.
• →Identify and Resolve Blockers: Proactively identify, quantify, and communicate technical risks and dependencies. You will be expected to develop and execute mitigation strategies for high-priority issues that could impact our driverless milestones.
• →Influence Roadmaps: Partner deeply with engineering and product leadership to ensure the ML and behaviors roadmap is well-defined, integrated, and aligned with top-level company goals.
  
  

• Experience & Domain Knowledge: 7+ years of experience in technical program management or a similar role, leading complex, safety-critical AI software, robotics, or systems programs. Experience managing large model releases and model development lifecycles is highly preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven Delivery: A strong track record of taking large, complex programs from initial concept and ambiguity to a successful launch.
• Clear Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to act as the primary point of contact for complex programs, with a track record of communicating progress, risks, and strategic recommendations to leadership.
