DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) - Community Habilitation

Mozaic is seeking at part-time Community Habilitation Direct Support Professionals. Community Habilitation (Com Hab) staff support individuals in becoming more actively engaged in their communities by offering opportunities to build connections, develop independence, and enhance daily living skills.

Community Habilitation offers a variety of skill-building activities, such as cooking classes to promote meal preparation skills, as well as assistance with attending medical appointments, managing finances, and improving cleaning and organizational abilities.

In addition to these supports, Community Habilitation also plans recreational outings to encourage social engagement and community participation. These outings may include trips to the zoo, museums, amusement parks, theater performances, movies, and other enjoyable activities.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour + based on experience!

Location: Clinton Street, Seneca Falls, New York

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Schedule:

PART TIME - 24 hours per week

3 days a week between Mon-Sat 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimally, one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or a related field is required. A Valid Driver's License is required.
