Professional Aide

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.

The main position duties will entail data entry and data proofing. The research assistant will enter data from paper data sheets and enter information into Excel using Microsoft Teams. They will also scan paper data into PDFs to be archived on Microsoft Teams. Proofing will entail detailed line-by-line scanning of paper data sheets against Excel entries. The hired person will be responsible for understanding what data codes mean and looking for errors by data recorders.

· Detail orientation.

· Prior experience entering and proofing data in a professional setting.

· Ability to use Microsoft products.

· Ability to use a scanner.

· Ability to communicate with team members who collected data to clarify ambiguous entries or mistakes.
