Technical Aide

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Assist with avian blood sample analysis, including microscopy, infection screening, data entry, sample organization, and general laboratory research activities.

Experience or interest in microscopy, avian blood cell identification, and haemosporidian parasite identification. Strong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn laboratory techniques.
