Technical Aide

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

The Mara Hyena project is seeking an on-call employee to work on data entry and database management. This position will support the long-term study of spotted hyenas in the Maasai Mara, Kenya. Duties will include data entry, document formatting, data correction, database management, and other duties as assigned. We seek an applicant with excellent attention to detail, careful communication, and dedication to data integrity.

• Knowledge in spotted hyena behavior
• Understanding of relational databases
• Excellent attention to detail
• 5+ years with data management
