Commercial/Industrial HVAC Service Technician (Harrisburg, PA; Pennsylvania; Pittsburgh, PA; State College, PA; Wilkes-Barre, PA; Williamsport, PA)

The McClure Company is searching for an HVAC Service Technician. This position will perform a variety of service related duties.  Diagnose and Troubleshoot HVAC equipment, including RTUs, boilers and chillers. Perform approved repairs. Build rapport with customers for ongoing maintenance accounts.

HVAC Service Technician Essential Functions:

• Perform periodic HVAC maintenance on a variety of equipment
• Troubleshoot wiring, relay logic, control systems
• Conduct in-depth site surveys to identify mechanical and operating malfunctions within a facility;
• Facilitate adequate communication among the internal team, sub-contractors, and customers

• Demonstrate good leadership and communications to all
• Provide quality customer service and follow-up to customers as needed
• Interface with customers all levels and coordinate the status of upcoming projects

• Other duties as assigned

HVAC Service Technician experience, technical skills & attributes required:

• 5+ years commercial/industrial HVAC field experience
• Understanding of Building Management systems
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
• Desire to work in fast paced, multi-faceted and diverse role
• Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with various departments of the company
• Strong customer advocacy
• Good organizational, analytical and problem-solving ability
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Energetic with a high sense of urgency
• Refrigeration experience not required but encouraged.
