Responsibilities

  • →Create, update and maintain client proposal and vendor contract templates for 3 operating businesses
  • →Work with attorney to understand legal implications of typical contract language and proposed revisions.
  • →Coordinate closely with company leadership, purchasing team, vendor relationship team, third party attorney and different internal buyers to create and improve contract related processes.
  • →focus on expediting contract administration, negotiation and execution process while maintaining critical controls to protect company.
  • →Strike balance between contract language being reasonable and not overwhelming/business friendly while protecting organization's best interests (especially on sensitive clauses).
  • →Implement automation and AI into review processes to increase efficiency.

 

Requirements

  • Existing familiarity with construction contract language implications (in Virginia, DC and Maryland)
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience managing the full lifecycle of construction contracts and procurement processes.
  • Highly organized
  • Strong administrative skills in programs such as Microsoft Word used to negotiate contract language
