Parts Counterperson

Acura of Highland Park, part of Murgado Automotive Group, is hiring an experienced Parts Counterperson to support our customers, wholesale accounts, and service technicians. This role is ideal for someone with automotive parts knowledge, strong customer service skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced dealership environment.

• →Assist retail and wholesale customers with automotive parts requests in a friendly, professional manner.
• →Provide accurate information on parts pricing, availability, ordering, and delivery timelines.
• →Support service technicians by locating and supplying the correct parts for vehicle repairs.
• →Receive, organize, and maintain parts inventory while keeping storage areas clean and efficient.
• →Process transactions accurately, including invoicing, payments, and related paperwork.
• →Order parts from suppliers and help maintain inventory levels to meet customer and service department demand.
• →Use parts catalogs and dealership systems to identify, source, and track parts.
• →Partner with the Parts Manager and team members to support department goals and customer satisfaction.

• Previous automotive parts experience, preferably in a dealership parts department.
• Familiarity with Acura parts, OEM parts, parts catalogs, and ordering systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management, invoicing, and order tracking.
• Detail-oriented approach to inventory accuracy and customer follow-up.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with customers, technicians, and team members.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
