Quality Inspector II

RAF Electronic Hardware, part of MW Fasteners, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector II to join our Quality team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.

• →Perform in-process, incoming, and final product inspections according to established procedures
• →Accurately document inspection and testing results
• →Verify compliance with customer, industry, and company quality standards
• →Maintain inspection records and controlled quality documentation
• →Document and report product quality issues and nonconformances
• →Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to identify and resolve issues
• →Maintain calibration records and measuring equipment in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and internal quality requirements
• →Coordinate calibration activities with approved laboratories
• →Evaluate quality concerns and recommend corrective actions
• →Monitor quality-related equipment and instrumentation
• →Maintain calibration systems, procedures, and records
• →Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• →Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• →Escalate quality concerns to management when necessary

• Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
• Frequent use of hands for handling, measuring, and inspecting components
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to perform detailed visual inspections, including close vision and depth perception

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI)
• Familiarity with GAGEtrak, Ape Software, or similar calibration management systems
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS9100 quality systems
