• →Drive routes to and from our Woodlake hub to receive product from brands while supporting overnight hauls to our other California locations
• →Outstanding problem solving and time management abilities
• →Help maintain fleet vehicles by keeping them clean and ensuring they are empty and secure when returned as well as flag any potential maintenance issues to our Fleet Management
• →Perform regular safety inspections of equipment in keeping with company SOPs and OSHA standards
• →Follow and maintain loading protocols, using chains and binders to secure cargo and re-checking their stability throughout trips
• →Inspect trailers before and after loading, paying attention to status of air lines and jack positions and adjusting them as necessary
• →Visit weigh stations before and after packing to ensure that loads meet state safety regulations, making alterations to loads when required by law
• →Assist in unloading cargo when delivery sites are understaffed, maintaining product quality throughout conveyance
• →Always adhere to traffic safety regulations, exercise caution in treacherous circumstances and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors and highway authorities
• →Use GPS to stay informed of route information, and communicate with supervisors and colleagues using CB radio and cab computer
• →Communicate professionally with warehouses, including notifying loaders by phone if you will be late for a scheduled drop-off or pickup
  
  

• Valid CDL with a least 2 years' occupational driving experience
• Must have airbrake endorsement
• Must have up-to-date medical card
• Must be over the age of 21
• Must be available for overnight routes including overnight hotel stays Monday - Thursday
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch and twist
• A clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than 1 point on driving record)
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check
• Must be able to welcome and learn new technologies quickly and effectively
