NAC is hiring a Mobile Crane Operator to run our 65T RT crane, initially based on the Nobleton Water Resource Recovery Facility Upgrade project in Schomberg, ON.

Check heavy equipment using approved circle check procedures before operating them to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances.
Hoist rebar, formwork, lumber, etc.
Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting.
Diagnose / identify defects in heavy duty equipment.
Clean, lubricate and perform other minor maintenance work.
Instruct apprentices as required.
Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, including equipment preparation, application of safe practices, compliance with applicable Acts and regulations.
Assist in loading and unloading of equipment.

Ontario or Interprovincial Mobile Crane Operators license, 339A – Hoisting Engineer, Mobile Crane Operator 1: for mobile cranes capable of lifting more than 8 tonnes / 16,000 lbs, up to unlimited capacity.
Must display competency in mobile crane operation, specifically the 65T RT crane.
Knowledge of construction equipment safety.
Knowledge of equipment maintenance, techniques and storage.
Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision.
