Production Operator/Assembler 1st Shift

Nammo Perry is a center of excellence for the design, development and production of munitions and pyrotechnic products for the U.S. Department of Defense. Nammo employees working at the Florida site manufacture all types of 40mm low and high velocity ammunition; pyrotechnic marking; signaling and tactical illumination devices; battlefield effects training simulators; demolition charges; hand grenade fuzes; and other ammunition components. Additionally, they provide load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services for large caliber direct-fire ammunition.

• →Places parts in specific relationship to each other with extreme accuracy
• →Operates and tends automatic and manual processing equipment
• →Works at different work stations as production needs require
• →Performs general daily housekeeping and cleaning of equipment and area to ensure a safe working condition for all employees
• →Ability to recognize and report all operational variances as trained

• High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required
• 2 years manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to accurately read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, and packaging preferred
• Ability to be at work on time and on a consistent basis
• Excellent team interaction and communication is a priority for this role
• Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions and communication in the English language
• Must be a U.S. Citizen/Person
