POSITION SUMMARY: This is an onsite position in San Carlos, CA. (Temp to Perm)
The Receiving Specialist accepts and process deliveries. The responsibilities include verifying delivered items, unloading trucks, ensuring items are stored correctly. Receiving Specialist will inspect deliveries with great attention to detail and be in good physical condition to lift and move heavy items.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-430pm
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receiving and signing for deliveries, compare purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists.

Organize and store received items in appropriate areas, update inventory with received items.

Process and record corresponding transactions in Oracle.

Work collaboratively with the team to resolve any discrepancies.

Handling returns of miss-shipped or damaged merchandise.

Other duties as assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED.

1-2 years of receiving experience in a distribution or warehouse environment or similar experience.

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Spreadsheet and ERP, preferably Oracle.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Basic math skills, and the ability to utilize sound judgment and reasoning capabilities to resolve problems.

Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Ability to communicate, both orally and written, in a professional manner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Ability to lift up to 60lbs.

Ability to work and operate a pallet jack.

At times may be required to work outside normal working hours.
