Dental Lab CAD CAM Technician Trainee

We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab CAD CAM Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX Davis Dental Laboratory in Wyoming, MI. 

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

• →Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
• →Knowledge and comfortability with computers
• →Operate the computer-aided design & computer-aided manufacturing steps for the designing process, including scanning, loading and creating files
• →Operate software for nesting designs to be processed throughout the milling / printing process
• →Load information into the computer, such as patient name, pan number, shade, etc.
• →Follow all required steps, to insure consistent, accurate results
• →Review final work to confirm that quality standards have been met
• →Order Implant parts for cases; maintain inventory
• →Case planning for implant cases with doctors and internal team members
• →Serve as primary point of contact for incoming technical questions, requests, and case consultation needs on surgical guides
• →Support production efficiency by taking ownership of technical Implant follow-up items with customers
• →Design CAD/CAM abutments
• →Impression QC
• →Clean work area daily
• →All other duties as assigned

• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain, and execute on written and verbal instructions
• High level of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

• Previous Dental Experience is a plus but not required; we offer paid / on the job training
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
