Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Deliver hands-on, personalized therapy interventions that help residents regain mobility and independence
- →Partner closely with Physical Therapists to implement and adjust care plans
- →Teach residents safe movement, exercises, and use of assistive devices
- →Track progress and celebrate milestones—big and small
- →Document care accurately and efficiently using electronic health records
- →Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
- Active Virginia PTA license (or compact state equivalent)
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Experience in rehab, skilled nursing, or long-term care (preferred, not required)
- A team-first mindset and strong communication skills
- A genuine passion for helping older adults thrive
