Role Purpose
The role holder will manage cash inflow by the obtaining customers customer purchase orders in line with expected time frames. Facilitate and resolve of purchase order queries or disputes which delay invoices being generated and issued to customers for work delivered. Assessment of customer credit worthiness to protect cashflow and reduce financial risk
Summary
- Accountable obtaining customer purchase orders
- Proactively liaise with sales and clients by email and phone to endure all purchase order are received minimising delays in the generations of customer invoices
- Ahere to purchase order collection KPI’s
- Maintain excellent data controls - Keeping accurate records of all purchase order, collections and query activities in PO database
- Facilitate and resolve of all client queries or disputes which delay purchases order being issued
- Escalate and report purchase order issues and delays to management in weekly 1 to 1s with credit manager
- Collaborate and build strong trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders:
- Work closely with Billing, Sales, and Sales Operations Teams, to resolve discrepancies and minimise collection delays.
- Responsible for all customer onboarding credit check assessments
- Produce team reports
- Monitor and manage shared boxes
- Provide cover for credit control collections during team holidays and leave.
What we are looking for in you
- Previous experience in credit control
- Proactive self-starter, who is a team-player, adaptable with a right first-time attitude.
- Confident in liaising with clients by email.
- Equally confident in liaising with internal sales by email phone when handling PO delay queries.
- Detail orientated, with a keen approach to proactive problem-solving.
- MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Ensure high levels of attendance and punctuality.
- Strong analytical skills to assess credit risk and make informed decisions regarding credit applications.
