The Immigration Specialist is responsible for overseeing U.S. immigration law matters and coordinating global immigration processes across multiple locations. This role provides both strategic direction and hands-on management of immigration cases in the United States and globally, while ensuring effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners worldwide. The Specialist ensures timely, accurate, and compliant handling of immigration processes by leveraging in-house expertise and coordinating with regional providers. The position emphasizes strong governance, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation, while delivering a high-quality service experience to employees and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Oversee end-to-end U.S. immigration processes in close coordination with external immigration service provider, including case initiation, document collection, petition preparation, filing, and full case oversight through to approval
- →Stay updated on changes in U.S. immigration law, policies, and procedures, and ensure external partners align with updated requirements
- →Coordinate immigration processes across multiple global locations, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with local regulations and company standards
- →Act as the central point of coordination for global immigration cases, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal stakeholders and external providers in different countries
- →Act as the primary point of contact for employees and internal stakeholders (HR department, Legal etc.), ensuring consistent communication, guidance, and issue resolution throughout each case
- →Monitor immigration deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documents
- →Maintain accurate records of all immigration cases in the internal tracking systems – Jira and HiBob
- →Build and maintain strong working relationships with external immigration providers worldwide to ensure effective collaboration and service delivery
- →Manage and monitor external vendor performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving accountability
- →Oversee the processing of invoices from external immigration providers, ensuring accuracy, proper allocation, and timely payment in line with internal finance procedures
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent
- 3+ years experiences in coordination of the immigration processes to/in the USA
- 2+ years experiences in coordination of the immigration processes globally
- Maintain and develop relationships with external providers: immigration attorneys, providers, vendors.
- Strong attention to detail - small omissions can create legal/compliance risks
- Resilience and adaptability — able to respond to changing regulations, unexpected delays, crisis situations
- Excellent verbal communication: able to explain complex immigration, legal or relocation information clearly to employees, leadership, and external partners
- Capable of working in internation team, collaborating with colleagues from different cultural, linguistic, and/or geographical backgrounds
$102,700 - $154,100 dependent on experience.
