Scope

The ideal candidate will be based in Seoul, South Korea and work closely with our customers and Sales executives in the APAC and parts of the EMEA region. The position will require the candidate to become the technical expert for all NETINT products, to allow them to assist the sales in pre-sales meetings, proof of concepts, field trials, NETINT product and workflow integrations, etc. The candidate will also work closely with our engineering department to ensure features and issues are addressed correctly and in timely manner. The candidate will also work with marketing department to help grow the business by reviewing marketing documentation, attending trade shows, attending and presenting at technical seminars.

Responsibilities

• Support sales executives with solutions selling into prospect account base
• Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
• Model the competitive advantages associated with sales opportunities
• Closely work with R&D teams with updated knowledge of NETINT products' strength and weakness
• Successfully match customer pain/ requirements to proposed solutions
• Create and deliver powerful presentations, demos and trials that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
• Help define integration architectures for implementing NETINT products and solutions into their existing data center and video workflow processes
• Manage all technical aspects of RFP/ RFI responses
• Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
• Collect and document competitive intelligence
• Join in the development of multimedia software customization and develop specific feature according to customer's requirement
• Update technical documentation, including user guides, installation guides, etc
  

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of FFMPEG & gstreamer
• Knowledge and experience with H.264/ AVC, H.265/ HEVC, VP9 or other video and audio codec standards, or AI (good plus)
• Knowledge about AI and video analytics workflows
• Experience with container formats and streaming protocols
• Knowledge software/ firmware development and testing methodology
• Experience in software programming or scripting (Python/Bash), C/C++ is an asset
• Ability to debug and solve problems on the spot
• Ability to support customers with their video encoding quality testing activities
• Ability to forge strong, long-lasting technical relationships with a customer base
• Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
• Ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies and standards
• Solid technical background with understanding and/ or hands-on experience in video compression technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation and creativity skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of computer hardware
• Electrical Engineering degree, Computer Science degree or equivalent industry experience
  
• Fluent in Korean and English. Japanese is an asset

Location of work:

• Based in Seoul, South Korea
• Willingness to travel to customer locations and trade
