Leads the evolution from traditional web and portal metrics to an insight-driven approach that connects patient, caregiver, and investigator site behavior to clinical trial engagement and recruitment actions across core trial properties. This role serves as the critical bridge between digital analytics reporting and clinical operations/trial management, ensuring Therapeutic Area (TA) leads, Recruitment Managers, and Digital Health Product Managers have the end-to-end telemetry needed to optimize trial discovery, pre-screening, enrollment, and retention journeys—shifting the team from reactive recruitment reporting to proactive trial participant experience design.
- Turn Data into Story: Synthesize participant behavioral, screening journey, and engagement data into clear, actionable insights; build narratives connecting site activity to trial enrollment bottlenecks and study milestones; deliver recurring, tailored insight packages to clinical operations stakeholders.
- Own the Participant Journey: Map and analyze end-to-end digital trial experiences (from study landing page to pre-screening and site referral) to identify friction, drop-off points, and participant drop-out risks; maintain a trial-portfolio-level recruitment health dashboard.
- Drive Action & Optimization: Partner with clinical operations, patient recruitment marketing, UX, and trial software engineering to prioritize digital pre-screening, eConsent, and decentralised trial experience improvements; lead test-and-learn strategies (A/B testing for landing pages, personalized content pathways); measure the post-launch impact of changes on trial recruitment speed and participant retention.
- Champion the Patient & Site Voice: Integrate Voice of Patient (VoP) data, site feedback, behavioral analytics, and qualitative survey insights into a unified understanding; proactively surface insights to Recruitment and Clinical Trial Product Managers.
- Influence Strategy: Advocate for patient-centric trial design; make complex recruitment and operational data accessible for executive clinical leadership; apply clinical tech trends and competitive recruitment benchmarks to elevate trial execution capabilities.

- Data storytelling and clinical leadership communication
- Participant recruitment experimentation and optimization frameworks
- Cross-functional clinical operations leadership
- Patient-centric clinical trial design thinking
- 5+ years in digital analytics, participant/patient experience insights, or a similar clinical insights-to-action role.
- Hands-on proficiency with GA4 and Adobe CJA (custom explorations, screening funnel analysis, attribution analysis).
- Experience analyzing clinical trial recruitment platforms, patient portal flows, or digital health experiences preferred.
- Experience with Medallia heatmaps/surveys, Qualtrics, or comparable Voice of Patient/Customer platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver prioritized, actionable recruitment and retention recommendations.
- Proven skill communicating complex analytical findings to non-technical clinical trial stakeholders and investigators.
- Strong understanding of digital patient UX, funnel mapping, and pre-screening conversion optimization.
