As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee the company’s accounting operations across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies. You will review accountants’ work, support the preparation of monthly standalone and consolidated management reports with financial analysis, and perform key reconciliations of bank, customer, and supplier accounts. You will also help strengthen internal controls and drive improvements and automation in accounting processes.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee and manage the full accounting function across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
- Review the work performed by accountants, including postings, adjustments, and other accounting entries made in the accounting software.
- Deliver monthly standalone and consolidated management accounts with insightful financial analysis.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank, customer, and supplier accounts.
- Strengthen internal controls, identify process improvements, and drive automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
What You’ll Bring To Us
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) – full or partly qualified will be considered as advantage.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Previous experience in a Big Four firm (audit/tax) is a strong advantage.
- Strong expertise in IFRS (knowledge of other accounting standards is a plus).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Experience with SAGE Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software (advantage).
- Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- The ideal candidate should proactively seek opportunities to automate corporate processes and financial reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills.
