As a Software Engineer at Nex, you will design and build the scalable backbone of our global platform powering e‑commerce, subscriptions, user management, device pairing, content delivery, support systems, analytics, and system updates. Your work will serve many millions of connected devices and the operating systems behind them, shaping daily user experiences worldwide. You will partner with business, product, and operation teams to deliver backend infrastructure that is simple, robust, observable, and reliable at scale.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design, build, and operate backend services for e‑commerce, subscriptions, accounts, device activation, content delivery, and system updates.
- →Build services that are reliable and observable, with monitoring, logging, and alerting, and use cloud and container technology for deployment and service management.
- →Implement robust APIs and backend logic using contemporary languages and runtimes (primarily Node.js, Python, and Go).
- →Partner with business, product, and operations stakeholders to deliver customer‑obsessed solutions.
Requirements
~1 min read- 2+ years building backend services for production systems.
- Experience running services in production using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with databases such as RDBMS and NoSQL.
- Familiar with data consistency principles, safe operation design, and concurrency control.
- Passion for deep technical challenges and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in English communication.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience with authentication patterns including OAuth.
- Experience with message queues or microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with messaging tools such as Apache Kafka, SQS, or Pub/Sub.
- Knowledge of privacy and security best practices.
- Experience in startups or high‑growth environments.
