No prior work history is necessary. We are willing to train the right candidates! Interns will be assigned a full-time mentor and will be embedded in team projects where possible.

Java or Python programming

Implementing software for ingesting geospatial data into RDBMS

Preparing briefings and architecture design diagrams

Assisting in software development projects under the guidance of senior engineers.

Writing, testing, and debugging code.

Participating in code reviews to learn best practices.

Researching and implementing new technologies or tools.

Documenting code and processes for future reference.

Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

US Citizenship required

Major in computer science, engineering, MIS, or information technology

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Thorough understanding of internet research

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Remote work allowed

Laptop provided

Expected hours: ~10 per week

Start date: As Soon As Possible
