Scanning Coordinator

The County Market Scanning Coordinator duties include but are not limited to providing genuine customer service, providing customers with accurate prices and 100% scanability, gaining product knowledge and working in a safe manner.

• →Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
• →Perform implementation of price changes for warehouse and DSD items
• →Ensure that prices are correct and go into effect in a timely manner
• →Maintain batches/batch paperwork
• →Communicate and resolve price discrepancies
• →Makes and enters changes in computer systems
• →Maintain E Verification report
• →Sign making for all departments
• →Maintain in-store deal tracking system
• →Weekly price changes
• →Handle pricing issues for total store
• →Maintain shelf tags
• →Request tags/deletions using proper procedure
• →Create pricing records for new products
• →Work within company programs, policies and procedures
• →Follows all store and department policies and procedures
• →Follows safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
• →Other duties as assigned by supervisor

• →Directly supervises associates in Scanning Department. 
• →Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• →Responsibilities include training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appr aising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• Or one to three months related experience and/or training;
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
• Ability to write simple correspondence. 
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.
